On 7 and 8 December 2023, the association of German engineers VDI will hold a conference on the subject of “BIM in infrastructure engineering”. By means of practical examples, BIM experts will share their experience with BIM planning in the areas of railway, road, bridge, tunnel and hydraulic engineering.
M.Sc. Michael Schneider, project manager at SSF’s department of large-scale projects/special engineering and tunnel construction, will talk about the design of Munich’s second main regional train line. The lecture highlights experiences and challenges of the BIM method during the final design as well as the interaction between final design and construction supervision.
