The wide-spanning frame structures of the three wildlife crossings are the first overfilled structures to be implemented with VFT®-WIB girders. The construction method with prefabricated composite elements and rolled girders in concrete (VFT®-WIB) is a development of the VFT method.

This composite construction method distinguishes itself by the innovative use of the materials steel and concrete in terms of material choice and their load-bearing capacity, as well as a high degree of prefabrication which results in efficient construction due to low transport weights and short assembly times.
