Deutschlandstipendium: a Federal Student Scholarship

SSF supports young engineers

The Deutschlandstipendium, a student scholarship granted by the German government, has been connecting students and sponsors for over 10 years – a successful commitment which SSF Ingenieure has been actively accompanying for many years. Currently, SSF supports young engineers at six universities all over Germany, at FH Potsdam, HS Augsburg, HTWK Leipzig, HS Karlsruhe, Bergische Universität Wuppertal and TU Munich.

In the past, in addition to offering our support, we were also able to recruit successful scholars as new employees, such as Franz Seyfarth, project engineer and BIM coordinator, project planning of railway engineering structures, working since 2018 at SSF Berlin.

“It takes some effort to receive the coveted Deutschlandstipendium for several years at FH Potsdam. But it was certainly worth it. The scholarship resulted in an internship during my studies and eventually a permanent position at SSF. In my view, a clear win-win situation for everyone”, says Franz Seyfarth.

We are looking forward to more active exchange with young talents in the future within the Deutschlandstipendium’s framework.

In a personal message, Federal Minister Bettina Stark-Watzingen honours the success of the Deutschlandstipendium and gives here thanks to everyone who’s part of this strong network. (German)
