Since the mid-nineties many reputational scientific institutions, like the Frauenhofer Institute, the Max-Planck-Society or a multiplicity of academical institutions of the University of Potsdam, have settled at the Science Center Golm.
The opening to traffic of a new, improved connection to the public road and railway net will be held on 23.04.2008.
