On the evening before the 23rd Bridge Symposium, the railway viaduct over valley Gänsebachtal has been conferred the German Bridge Engineering Award 2014 in the category “road and railway bridges”.
SSF Ingenieure AG with its branch in Berlin and in collaboration with the engineering office sbp GmbH elaborated the alternative offer, following the idea of Prof. Jörg Schlaich, and final design. From Berlin Dipl.-Ing. Stefan Kraft for project management of structural design and Dipl.-Ing. Christian Ommert for bridge design were honored on behalf of SSF Ingenieure AG.
