TU Munich Summer Semester 2017

A dialogue with Mr. Hermann Stoiberer, team manager in the field of final design-engineering structures at SSF Ingenieure

On May 22th 2017, Mr. Hermann Stoiberer will hold a lecture at lecture hall 0606 at Technische Universität Munich in the framework of the event series "From Research and Practice"; the title of the lecture: Structures under difficult technological boundary conditions and continued railway traffic HP Stuttgart Feuerbach

He will give an insight into an interesting and highly complex project and its practical implementation. The tunnel, coming from the central station, emerges in Feuerbach and is connected to the existing railway line in northern direction. Due to the existing regional train line 4801, the existing long-distance railway 4800, the stop point Feuerbach, the Prag Tunnel and its position within the city, the construction of the new line is extremly complex and only feasible by dividing it in different construction phases. During construction, railway traffic operation has to be permanently continued; which results in the tunnel being built by a partial cut-and-cover method.
