BIM World Munich

Lecture by engineer Apostolos Kofidis

BIM World will take place from 22 to 23 November at the International Congress Centre in Munich. The conference – which has been held for the last six years – is one of the leading networking events for all BIM actors from the construction, real estate and urban planning sectors. At the event, Apostolos Kofidis, BIM developer at SSF in Munich will hold a lecture, together with Michael Geyer, BIM consultant for architecture and civil engineering – Mensch und Maschine Deutschland GmbH, on the subject of BIM for infrastructure and transport installation design.

The requirements on BIM for infrastructure construction differ from other fields. In the context of their lecture, the engineers will focus on two factors important to the BIM method for infrastructure planning. Whilst Michael Geyer will have a closer look at the human factor and present the BIM-ready training concept, Apostolos Kofidis will illustrate the technological factor. He will emphasise the software-technological challenges and how to manage them by one’s own programming and workflows.

The lecture takes place on 23 November at congress stage 2 at 12.05pm.
