The BIM-graduated plan of the Federal Government envisages mandatory BIM-planning in the field of transportation infrastructure starting in 2020. Structural engineering is to follow. Therefore, there is an urgent need to address the issue of BIM.
The practical applications workshop provides an insight into the requirements associated with the introduction and use of BIM. Issues and challenges will be discussed and practical experiences from different perspectives will be presented. The focus will be on the specific needs that arise when working with BIM.
