PPP project for the development of transport infrastructure in the city of Port Louis implemented by the Road Development Authority (RDA) of Mauritius.

The road bridge in Mauritius is a stayed-cable bridge which spans the harbour of the capital Port Louis with a maximum span width of 490 m. The 22.95 m wide cross section passes over 4 road lanes as well as 2 sidewalks.

Both concrete pylons carry the bridge deck by a fan-like cable level on each side. The bridge deck is formed as prestressed concrete hollow box. In the main span, the prestressed concrete hollow section is stiffened by steel connections to reduce weight and to suspend the cables; the carriageway slab is transversally prestressed. The single-cell prestressed concrete cross section of the back anchor and foreland areas, stiffened by concrete cross frames, is placed on high pillars with medium span widths of around 45 m and 50 m. Dividing pillars separate the continuous superstructure in sections of 166 m, 1020 m and 398 m. The bridge is founded on large bore piles.
