- As the tallest structure in the city of Leipzig, the radio mast will become a landmark
- The 170 m high and 190 t heavy lattice structure was assembled in individual levels using a special mobile crane
- The erection of the 21 m long antenna shaft with lightning trap at this height was possible only by helicopter and in consultation with Leipzig/Halle Airport
