The parent organization bauforumstahl eV and the German Steel Construction Association (DSTV) as well as the professional community "Bridge Construction" met on Tuesday, 29 September 2015 for the "Bridge Construction Conference" in Mainz. Approximately 230 people gathered to exchange views on recent developments regarding the awarding of tenders for major bridges. The focal point of the event was a high-profile panel of experts from the field of bridge construction management, design and structural engineering as well as from international steel construction companies. Together they discussed innovation and competition within the bridge construction industry.
