On Thursday, 20 October, Giulia Daniele, managing director of Tecnostrutture s.r.l. together with Professor Andreas Taras of ETH Zurich, held a lecture at SSF on the subject of the NPS® load-bearing system. The new performance system (NPS) is a modular system developed by the company Tecnostrutture. It allows modular and flexible construction with horizontal and vertical load-bearing components with a steel/concrete composite structure. The individual construction components are prefabricated at the plant and can be quickly assembled on the construction site. The system is self-bearing right from the start – thus eliminating the usual formworks and provisional support structures. Subsequently to concreting, a steel structure is created which facilitates fast and high construction.
The lecture took place at SSF’s Munich headquarters and was open to all interested colleagues. We want to thank everyone for their visit, the fascinating lecture and the interesting exchange about modular construction.
