SSF Engineering Award 2020

Award ceremony for study prize winner Sebastian Schopper

This year's SSF Engineering Award was presented to the graduate Sebastian Schopper who convinced with his bachelor thesis "Analysis of spatial mechanisms of static systems by use of eigenvalue analysis and Cholesky decomposition, handed in at the Chair of Structural Analysis of Technical University Munich.

Due to the Corona virus pandemic the award ceremony could not take place as usual during the Faculty Day. Therefore, SSF Ingenieure invited the award winner to its offices where he held a lecture showing the results of his thesis. Afterwards, Helmut Wolf, board of directors' member at SSF Ingenieure AG, handed him the award certificate.

We congratulate Mr. Schopper to successfully completing his studies and are happy to present him with this year's SSF Engineering Award.

The SSF Engineering Award honours outstanding bachelor theses at the Department of Civil, Geo and Environmental Engineering.
