At the beginning of the new year Mr. Johannes Frühauf has been named director at Prof. Schaller UmweltConsult (PSU). He replaces Mr. Helmut Wolf as commercial director, who, as managing director of SSF Ingenieure, will remain closely connected with PSU. This nomination aims at expanding the successful interdisciplinary collaboration of both companies within the SSF Group in the fields of design, project approval and control as well as direct assistance to our clients.
Mr. Frühauf completed his studies of civil engineering at the Technical University Munich and started his career as project planner in SSF’s Berlin branch. During his long years working abroad as expert for high-speed railway construction, he considerably helped to expand the field of work of SSF and its partner company PEC+S Deutschland GmbH to the Far East. Since his return to Germany in 2012, Mr. Frühauf works in Munich in our construction management department and continues to manage projects abroad.
As new director at PSU he will contribute to further develop the company together with its long-time directors Prof. Dr. Schaller and Dr. J. Gnädinger. In addition to well-established environmental and landscape design services, Mr. Frühauf will in particular advance the combination of BIM and GIS tools in view of the digitalisation of design, construction and the sustainable management of urban design and transport infrastructure projects.
