Last Wednesday, developer, designer and construction company presented the currently ongoing modernisation of underground station Sendlinger Tor in Munich. Whilst operation of the highly-frequented transit station was maintained, the construction project in the heart of Munich was successfully implemented and is about to be completed.
The event was initiated by the Bavarian Construction Association (Bauindustrie Bayern e.V.), the Bavarian Association of Road and Transport Engineers (VSVI Bayern e.V.) and the Association of Consulting Engineers (VBI). One of the four lecturers was our colleague at SSF Michael Weizenegger, presenting the project from the designer’s point of view.
