The jury that met on December 12th, 2012, awarded the engineering prize to Dipl.-Ing. Jürgen Schmidt from SSF Ingenieure AG for new construction of the Danube Bridge in Günzburg. Dipl.-Ing. Peter Radl and Dipl.-Ing. Anton Klotzner from SSF Ingenieure AG and Dipl.-Ing. Jürgen Gleixner from the local construction authority Krumbach also participated at this project.
The prize was offered by bauforumstahl e. V.
Another prize in the category bridge construction was awarded to Dipl.-Ing. Hans-Joachim Casper from SSF Ingenieure AG for the railway bridge over the Ijssel.
The awards ceremony will be held during the exposition BAU 2013 on January 15th, 2013, in Munich at the joint stand of bauforumstahl e.V. and its members.
