The theme of the competition was "Show what you do! – Engineers present themselves, their plans and their work"
The 1st prize was awarded to SSF Ingenieure, represented by graduate engineer Helmut Wolf. SSF's entry consisted of its project for the consistent implementation of the new corporate design which had become necessary after the company changed its name in early 2008. The project had been tackled together with the design company ediundsepp.
The jury praised the clearly structured, consistent corporate design as illustrated by the website and the new company brochure as examples of the company's holistic process. "The project has coherently implemented the aim of giving the company an immediate recognition value in all public documents ". In addition, the jury was very impressed with the quality of the competition entry and the graphic design.
