Within the framework of the working group “Sustainable Transport Infrastructure” of the Bavarian Chamber of Engineers-Civil the nowadays often difficult management of large-scale projects was discussed and the results are documented in a concise brochure. In addition to technical and financial reasons, the absence of communication particularly makes the realisation of large-scale projects more difficult.
SSF Ingenieure, represented by Mr. Jörg Jungwirth, a long-time member of the working group, participated in the writing of the flyer.
The focus was deliberately put on the three issues communication, risk management and financial planning. Experience shows that errors in these areas have the largest effects and are the origin of failure of large projects.
