The virtual building site – ways into a new partnership
Cooperation and teamwork are becoming ever more important factors that decisively influence the success of construction enterprises. That is why SSF Ingenieure, in the field of research and development, works on the virtual building site as design platform that comprehensively epitomizes an entire construction project. This subject is also being dealt with by the research project ForBAU of which SSF Ingenieure is an active member.
The research association ForBAU together with the Bavarian Office of Public Works and the Bavarian Association of Construction Industries invites to the first ForBAU congress on March 18th, 2010.
Subject of the congress will be how the use of new technologies is capable of supporting teamwork within a construction project. Experts from industry, science and the public sector will discuss problems of current processes and will present solutions in form of live demonstrations and speeches.
Among others, Dipl.-Ing. Dieter Stumpf, executive director of SSF Ingenieure, will give a lecture on the assets of 3D-design.
