This year’s special edition BIM-Building Information Modeling from the publishing house Ernst & Sohn focuses on the digitalization of construction – not only through BIM.
In the article “The digitalization of infrastructure projects and its challenges”, D. Sundmacher and H. Meyer from SSF Ingenieure provide an insight in the creation of digital building models in the field of civil engineering. The digitalization of infrastructure projects requires close interaction between designers and programmers – a challenge for everybody involved in the design process.
