Weser Bridge in Beverungen ready for launching

The most exciting part of construction – launching into its final position – is planned for the end of February

The spectacular day is right around the corner: The launching of Weser Bridge in Beverungen into its final position is planned for the end of this month. For this project, SSF Ingenieure Halle signs responsible for construction management, on-site supervision and production monitoring of steel structures.
On 27 February 2020, the 4000-tonne-heavy steel construction will be transported downstream and pulled onto the new piles by six hydraulic cylinders; on the condition, however, that the flood, which currently hampers construction works, doesn’t continue to rise. If everything goes according to plan, the bridge will be opened for pedestrians on 6 March. Completion is planned for June.
