Between 21 and 23 June, the congress BetonTage, Concrete Solutions takes place at Congress Centrum Ulm. More than 2,000 participants from 20 countries are expect at Europe’s biggest trade conference for the precast concrete industry. The event centres around exchange of knowledge between the various participants from the fields of mechanical engineering, software and the supply industry. Motto of this year’s programme is “Sustainable construction with concrete” – everything focuses on resource-friendly technology for cement and concrete production as well as innovative concrete types and concrete elements.
At SSF Ingenieure’s exhibition stand, efficient and sustainable modular construction methods are in the focus; especially the VTR®construction method. VTR® is SSF Ingenieure’s registered trademark for composite girder grid method. The superstructure consists of longitudinal steel girders onto which serially prefabricated reinforced concrete transversal girders with structural prestress are placed and connected with the longitudinal girders to form a grid. Modularly fabricated slabs, fully or semi-prefabricated (with cast-in situ supplement), complete the grid of longitudinal and transversal girders to a continuous deck slab.
