In April this year, SSF together with QuistWintermans Architekten applied for the German contribution to the Biennale of Architecture in São Paulo 2011.
On May 17th, 2011, the commission under the lead of Sigurd Trommer, president of the German Chamber of Architects, chose the Ijssel bridge in the Netherlands as one of 20 projects, out of 120 presented by the offices that followed the invitation of the Chamber, to participate at the exhibition.
The IXth International Biennale of Architecture in São Paulo will take place from November 1st to December 4th, 2011.
