The Arnulfpark Bridge reaches the first pile

Launching of the pedestrian and cycle bridge near Munich Central Station

Since last Sunday, the Arnulfpark Bridge, currently under construction, crosses the tracks of the regional train line. On Saturday, September 15, 2018, the first 32 metres of bridge, reaching from Erika-Mann-Straße over the tracks, were launched towards the pile. Another, twelve metres long element, was added in the night from Saturday to Sunday, connecting the bridge to the first pile. Launching until the second temporary pile is planned at the middle of October.

After its completion, the new pedestrian and cycle bridge in Munich, between bridges Hackerbrücke and Donnersbergerbrücke, will span 37 tracks on 242 metres. Numerous departments at SSF Ingenieure participated at the design. Currently, our SSF colleagues are on location for construction management, construction supervision and supervision of railway constructions.
