Track improvement on the line Fürth – Würzburg
The Deutsche Bahn (german railway company) called for a two-stage design competition with preliminary prequalification for the new construction of the railway viaduct Aurachtal. SSF Ingenieure’s branch in Berlin won the first place.
The award-winning design consists of an 11-span integral solid construction with longitudinal prestress; the individual spans reach up to 50 m over a total length of 525 m.
