The Research Cooperation "Virtual Construction Site – Digital tools for project management, planning, design and construction" (FORBAU), was launched on January the 1st 2008. The Bavarian Research Foundation supports the cooperation with a total of 2.25 Million Euros over the next three years. The principal task is, to get advantages in the competition at the international market through efficiently structured processes as well as technical and organizational innovations. The objective is to present a concept, which incorporates existing, isolated solutions of several process stages in a holistic model. SSF supports the cooperation as a competent partner.
