Insight in the complex conversion of an over 40-year-old structure into a modern train station
The modernisation of the underground station Sendlinger Tor marks the implementation of one of the technically most challenging infrastructure projects in the heart of Munich – with ongoing traffic, in the midst of monument protected buildings and involving highest logistical complexity.
Our updated project folder provides a condensed insight into the design, construction phases and particularities of this large-scale project. With instructive images, drawings and background stories, we show how in constraint spaces and under immense time pressure a central transportation hub was made fit for the future.
