SSF Employees Visit Construction Sites

Last Tuesday, employees at the offices Düsseldorf and Munich had the opportunity to experience two construction projects live on site. Our colleagues in Düsseldorf visited the Rahmede Viaduct construction, where currently a new large-scale bridge of around 450 metres is built as a reinforced concrete composite structure. SSF Ingenieure is providing services in a joint venture for construction management, construction and assembly supervision. Our colleague Okan Uz led the group around the construction site where at this moment the piles are erected. Some have already been completed and others are still growing step by step in height.

Our Munich colleagues visited the site of the new railway bridge at Lindwurmstrasse. It is an important part of Munich’s railway infrastructure and holds six tracks. The over 100-year-old historic bridge couldn’t be renovated, and since 2017, had only been serviceable with a temporary support structure. Since March of this year, construction works are in progress to demolish and replace the bridge. Here as well, SSF Ingenieure is responsible for construction management and supervision. The visit guided by our colleague Daniel Deutschland provided ample background knowledge and the current state of construction.
