Andreas Wutz and Christian Hofstetter take on department management
We congratulate Andreas Wutz to his new position as department manager for railway transport installation design in Munich and Regensburg, starting on 1 October 2025. Moreover, we are happy to announce that also on 1 October 2025, Christian Hofstetter took over the department for project planning of railway infrastructure – together with Holger Knippschild – in Munich and Regensburg.
Andreas Wutz studied civil engineering at the Technical University Munich and had already gained valuable experience in the field of transport installations at SSF as a working student between 2013 and 2016. After his bachelor’s degree and master’s studies he worked as project engineer from 2016 and 2018 and subsequently became project manager. Andreas Wutz has now been working for more than a decade in the field of transport installation design – covering all design phases but mostly in the area of final design.
Christian Hofstetter studied civil engineering at the Technical University Munich. After a one-year postgraduate course in Melbourne, Australia, he started working for SSF in Munich in 1998. As a young project engineer, later as structural engineering project manager, he worked on a broad spectrum of structural engineering projects during his first 10 years in the department for urban engineering structures. In the following years, as part of our international department, he managed a variety of large-scale international projects. Since 2017, as office manager he established the new SSF branch Regensburg, where a part of the department for project planning of railway infrastructure has been working since.
We are looking forward to our upcoming teamwork and wish Andreas and Christian a successful start in their new roles.
