Lecture by Dr.-Ing. Thomas Lechner

On 25 and 26 February the 25th Bridge Engineering Symposium will take place in Leipzig. The annual industry meeting provides bridge engineering experts from all over the country with the opportunity to share their knowhow, form networks and engage in exchange.

During the lectures series, Dr.-Ing. Thomas Lechner, head of the steel and large-scale bridge department, together with Dipl.-Ing. Martin Steinkühler from DEGES GmbH, will present the design and tender process of the replacement structure of Rader Viaduct.

Rader Viaduct in Schleswig-Holstein leads motorway A7 over the Kiel Canal as well as lake Borgstedter Enge. It was opened in 1972 and has been playing a central role for traffic from and to Denmark and Scandinavia.
