Japanese German Bridge Symposium

From 17 to 20 September 2025, the Japanese German Bridge Symposium will take place in Munich. It will be kicked off by lectures at the Technical University Munich as well as the University of the German Federal Armed Forces Munich. The symposium will mainly focus on the entire spectrum of civil engineering and associated construction materials.
On 17 September, our colleague Dr.-Ing. Thomas Lechner will hold a lecture on the Rader Viaduct, emphasising the design of the semi-integral structure with a main span width of 224 metres. Especially the structural particularities, the structural-constructional boundary conditions as well as the challenges during the design process will be highlighted.
