Expansion of SSF Ingenieure AG Management

On 1 January 2025, Ulrich Castrischer joins the SSF Ingenieure AG management. The present branch manager at our offices in Berlin will expand the management as a fourth member in addition to the executive chairman Christian Schmitt and the two managing directors Anton Braun and Helmut Wolf. The expansion of the management was decided by all SSF Ingenieure AG stakeholders during the annual general meeting. At the same time, the contracts of the current three managing directors have been extended by five years.

Ulrich Castrischer joined SSF Ingenieure AG in 2001 after his carpenter training and his studies of civil engineering at RWTH Aachen. At our Berlin branch, he started as project manager, became head of the road engineering department in 2012 and took over the branch management in 2017.

“We are looking forward to having a new driving force in our management with Ulrich Castrischer and to adding for the first time a member outside of our head offices in Munich. We thus are strengthening our position in the north of Germany”, says Christian Schmitt, executive chairman of SSF Ingenieure AG.

Ulrich Castrischer will keep his branch manager position in Berlin while assuming his new role as managing director. “North Germany is an important pillar for SSF Ingenieure. And we meet those needs with our significantly grown Berlin branch, and since May 2022, our branch in Hamburg”, says Ulrich Castrischer. “I’m looking forward to advancing this development in my role as managing director and to contributing to set up our company for the future.”
