Construction Site Visit Lindwurmstrasse Munich

Bridge construction in the middle of Munich’s city traffic, while traffic is ongoing: 20 of our colleagues gained exiting insights into the project “new construction of railway bridge Lindwurmstrasse” during another exclusive site visit.

The old railway bridge is currently being replaced by a new structure – while railway traffic continues and in consideration of the complex inner-urban location. SSF Ingenieure’s project team signs responsible for project planning and structural engineering of the new structure as well as construction supervision for the railway company DB Netz AG

Mid-May the rolled girders in concrete (WiB) were built for the 1st section. The abutments underneath the temporary bridges have already been completed. Currently, works for the 1st section’s superstructure are in full swing and the scaffolding for the 2nd section’s superstructure is being erected. At the same time, the launching procedure of both superstructures, planned for the end of 10/2025, is designed.
