On 13 May 2026, the 23rd buildingSMART user days will take place in Berlin. The event is one of the industry’s essential meeting opportunities for the field of Open BIM in Germany. In 28 lectures experts of the construction industry provide insight into current developments, applications and solutions regarding the entire construction value chain.
During the event, Stephanie Birzer, from our BIM management department, and André Jeske, head of our BIM development and BIM management department, will hold a lecture about “model-based issue management during quality assurance between CDE and coordination software”.
The lecture describes model-based issue management during quality assurance of infrastructure projects. It centres on continuous workflow between common data environment (CDE) and coordination software. Demonstrated at a concrete project, the data exchange between Autodesk Construction Cloud and DESITE via open standards such as BCF and IFC 4.3 is practically shown.
