5×5 TEAM Relay in Berlin

This year again, we tie our running shoes and show team spirit! On 3 June, we participated again at the Berlin Wasserbetriebe 5×5 TEAM relay – and this time even with three teams.

The event at Berlin Tiergarten is one of the largest relay runs in Berlin and by number of participants even in Germany, and focuses entirely on solidarity, motivation and collective movement. Five colleagues each ran one after the other a 5-km-loop through Tiergarten.

Under the name SSFive wins, SSForzando and SSF bridge runners our relay teams reached places 455, 501 and 623 amongst an impressive 2000 teams – a remarkable feat for all of them!

In addition to the athletic challenge, the focus was on community: In the best summer weather we had a picnic together in the park, cheered each other on and ended the evening together. Many thanks to everyone who was there – running, cheering, organising or just enjoying together!
