3rd SBiM User Day

To promote further exchange within the user community, on 11 June 2026, the 3rd SBiM User Day will take place in Nuremberg. The user day provides a platform for accounts from praxis, new application cases and dialogue between engineers.

SSF will be represented with a speaker: Under the title “Beyond approval design – SBiM during detailed design at the example of a steel trough bridge in the Ahr valley”, our colleague Martin König will report about the use of Revit/SBiM for modelling and plan production during approval and final design.

At the example of a recent bridge project in the Ahr valley, he will show how SBiM can be used beyond the approval design phase during detailed design. The designed replacement structures comprise among others modern steel trough bridges as part of reconstruction of the infrastructure destroyed by a flood in 2021.
