19th Bridge Engineering Symposium

On 11 September, the 19th Bridge Engineering Symposium took place in Lüdenscheid. The event organised by Bauforumstahl e.V. is a central meeting point for the steel construction industry where around 200 experts from the fields of design and execution as well as the public sector gather.

At the event, our colleague Andreas Danders held a lecture on the subject “fast construction demonstrated at the example of Elisabeth bridge in Halle (Saale)”. Elisabeth bridge is the first bridge in Germany built by VTR® construction – a modular method with a high degree of prefabrication – and completed in only 15 months.
