ICE Maintenance Facility

The extremely limited cost budget of the client, together with the demand of maintaining the total building cubage, specified high requirements for the planning of the supporting structure, which had to be secured by performing the dimensioning of the optimised deep foundation and of all rising structural components on an FE total building system. At the same time, the formerly spatial roof-supporting structure of the competitive design was redesigned into a linear roof-supporting structure.
